Billie Eilish “won’t do singles”, announces new album release strategy.

Billie Eilish treated fans to a preview of her upcoming album at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

On Friday, the singer appeared as a guest on Lana Del Rey’s show and took the stage at the festival venue’s Do Lab party to debut three new tracks.

The Grammy winner announced the event on her Instagram Stories, attracting a crowd eager to hear snippets from her upcoming album Hit me hard, hit me softly.

The tracks showcased include Chihiro and love of my life, but it is Lunch UpRoxx noted that it received the warmest reception.

In a video circulating on X, fans enthusiastically embrace Billie Eilish’s new song, with one fan even calling it the “gay anthem of the year.”

The song’s lyrics are full of temptation, such as “I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she could be the one / I can never have enough / I could buy you so much / It’s a craving, and Not a crush”, triggering heated discussions among the audience.

One fan expressed relief on social media, celebrating Eilish’s ease in talking about sex, exclaiming: “Finally a Billy Gay song, we’re finally out of this.”

Eilish herself earlier announced the release date of her upcoming album, which is due out on May 17, as well as the album’s cover art.
