Bengaluru road rage: Man dragged on bonnet by cabbie crushed to death shocking video

A taxi driver allegedly hanged a man on the bonnet of his car, drove his vehicle for about 400 meters and then ran over him following a fight between the two at Maramma Temple Circle in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The incident occurred on January 15 and was captured in CCTV footage.

Police have registered a case against the cab driver, identified as Mohammad Munir, under Non-Cognizable Crime Report (NCAR) and the matter is under investigation.

Officials are also searching for Munir, who is on the run after the hit-and-run incident in which the victim, identified as Ashwath, lost his life.

According to the police, after the collision of the vehicles, there was an argument between Munir and Ashwath.

Ashwath then came out of his car and climbed on the bonnet of Munir’s cab to prevent him from fleeing from the spot.

However, the cab driver did not stop his vehicle and continued driving for about 400 meters with Ashwath hanging on the bonnet.

In the CCTV video of the incident which went viral on social media, several onlookers can be seen running behind the cab asking Munir to stop the vehicle, but to no avail.

According to reports, unfortunately, Munir’s cab hit a pillar near Circle Maramma Temple and due to its impact, Ashwath lost his grip and fell critically. Times Now,
