At least 6 killed, more than 15 injured in Stamped in the temple in Goa

Police said on Saturday that at least six people died and more than 15 people were injured in a stampede at Larai Devi temple in Shiragaon.

According to North Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Akshat Kaushal, 6 were killed and more than 15 were injured in a stampede, which took place at the Lerai Devi temple in Srigo, Goa.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed sadness on the tragedy and said that he was personally monitoring the situation.

Sawant also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to him and took a detailed stock of the situation.
