Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will make a major revelation today about the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, his wife claimed. Mr Kejriwal is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED last week in connection with the now-abandoned Delhi liquor policy case in connection with a money laundering case. His custody ends today and investigating agencies are expected to seek an extension at Rose Avenue Court.
Arvind Kejriwal is lodged in the detention center of the agency’s Delhi office.
The Delhi High Court dismissed the Aam Aadmi Party leader’s petition challenging the arrest and gave the investigating agency time until April 2 to present its case.
ED believes that the now-defunct policy provided high profit margins of nearly 185% to retailers and 12% to wholesalers. Of this, 6% (over Rs 600 crore) was recovered as bribes and the money was allegedly used to fund poll campaigns in Goa and Punjab.
AAP chief’s wife Sunita Kejriwal said in a public address that Mr Kejriwal will make a big revelation today regarding the “so-called Delhi liquor policy case”.
Ms Kejriwal said the Chief Minister would reveal the whereabouts of “the money from the alleged liquor scam”.
She also lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for attacking Kejriwal after issuing instructions to the city’s public works minister and health ministers Atish and Saurabh Bhardwaj.
Despite his arrest, the party insists he will continue to serve as Delhi chief minister. Earlier this week, he issued two orders to the detention center.
The BJP leaders strongly protested against this and staged protests across Delhi demanding Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation.
The United States and Germany also spoke out over the arrests, urging India to conduct a “fair and transparent” investigation.
