It all started when industrialist Harsh Goenka recently used his X-handle to claim that a baby would be born in a few days. Without revealing the names of Virat or Anushka, he wrote: “A new baby will be born in the next few days! Hope the baby will take India to greater heights like the greatest cricketing father . Or will he follow his mother and become a film star?” Goenka also used the tags “Made in India” and “Born in London”. This left everyone convinced that the industrialist was talking about Anushka and Virat.

In October 2023, the Hindustan Times reported that Anushka Sharma was pregnant with her second child with husband Virat Kohli. Reports of Kha Sharma’s second pregnancy hit the headlines for the first time. “Anushka is expecting her second child. Like last time, they will officially share the news with the world at a later stage,” the entertainment portal quoted a source as saying.

Later in January 2024, AB De Villiers confirmed Anushka Sharma’s pregnancy reports, saying on his YouTube channel: “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes. , it’s family time and things are important to him. If you are not true to yourself, you will forget why you are here. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that … Yes, we miss him, but he made the right decision.”

Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December 2017. The actress took a break from acting in 2018 after the release of her film Zero. The couple then welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021. Anushka has not acted in any films since then. She is expected to make a comeback with the sports drama Chakda Xpress. While the actress has completed filming, there is no word yet on the release date of the film.
