Recap: Lib Dems could use opposition day to investigate Andrew in the Commons
The Liberal Democrats could use the final opposition day of the parliamentary session to investigate Prince Andrew.
A Liberal Democrat source said: “We need to explore all options, including an opposition day debate, to ensure Parliament can properly investigate Prince Andrew’s relationship with his Dukedom, from his residence in the Royal Lodge.
“The first thing we need is proper transparency and accountability – that’s why we’ve called on the Crown Estate and Prince Andrew to give evidence under oath in Parliament.”
The Lib Dems have one opposition day left in this parliamentary session, but no date has been allocated for it yet.

If Andrew leaves the Royal Lodge where might he go?
Prince Andrew is reportedly discussing voluntarily leaving the Royal Lodge following the uproar over the “peppercorn” rent for his 30-room mansion.
The obstacles to reaching an agreement are reportedly over where Andrew, who is eighth in line to the throne, will live and what financial compensation he will receive for the money spent renovating the house.
The King’s private Balmoral estate in Scotland and his Sandringham estate in Norfolk are potential properties in which Andrew could be housed but whether he would accept a smaller home away from his servile daughters remains to be seen.
