Reliance Industries Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani reached Ayodhya with his wife Nita Ambani, son Akash, his wife Shloka and Anant with his future wife Radhika Merchant, daughter Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal.

On January 22, on the eve of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Ambani’s Mumbai residence was illuminated with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ artefacts. A video of Antilia, the world’s most expensive house, showed the premises decorated with depictions of lights and lamps and chants of Lord Rama.

A huge ‘bhandara’ or ‘food service’ was also organized by Reliance to celebrate the inauguration of the Ram temple.

Reliance was one of the first private organizations in India to declare a holiday for over four lakh employees to celebrate the occasion.

The occasion was celebrated with special pujas on Monday at various temples on Reliance campuses across the country. These included temples at Reliance facilities in Mumbai, Jamnagar, Dahej, Nagothane, Hazira, Silvassa, Halol, Hoshiarpur, Nagpur, Shahdol, Kakinada and many other places.

Additionally, Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail activated several special services for the benefit of Ram devotees, devotees and pilgrims.

The group’s telecom arm Jio upgraded its True4G and standalone 5G networks in Ayodhya and installed additional towers across the city for an enhanced and seamless network.

The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony was telecast live with real-time updates on JioTV, JioTV+ and JioNews in collaboration with Doordarshan.
