Amarnath Yatra was suspended from Pahalgam and Baltal for a day

Srinagar, July 17: Shri Amarnathji Yatra has been suspended from both Pahgam and Baltal Base Camp on 17.07.2025. In the last two days, heavy continuous rains have required restoration work on tracks along both routes. The Border Rhodes Organization has deployed its men and machinery on the tracks to complete the work on 18.07.2025 before its release from two base camps.

“Due to continuous rains in the last few days, immediate repair and maintenance works are required to be taken to the tracks. Therefore, it has been decided that no movement will be allowed from two base camps towards the holy cave from two base camps today. However, Yatis living in the Panjaturney Camp during the previous night is being allowed to go under the Bruz. The probability of tomorrow, the possibility of tomorrow, the chances of yesterday, on the basis of the day, the weather of the day,”. Vijay Kumar Biduri said.

So far, more than 2.47 lakh pilgrims have paid orders at the Holy Cave Temple during the 2025 Sri Amarnathji Yatra 2025. (KDC)
