Altaf Bukhari did not go to the martyr’s cemetery

APNI Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today excluded the leaders of the ruling national conference to not visit the martyrs’ cemetery to pay tribute to the 1931 martyrs on his anniversary.

In a statement released here, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “It is ironic that, on the one hand, the ruling National Conference talks about honoring the martyrs of 13 July 1931, yet on the other hand, its leaders did not return by more than 50 MLAs – even trying to offer the martyrs’ cemetery.”

“One may understand that this government failed to declare a gazetted holiday on July 13, as it lacked the will to do so. But was prevented from visiting the cemetery to pay homage to the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues?

The APNI party leader further said, “Will they now tell us that the Chief Minister and his cabinet were not allowed to visit the cemetery today? If so, it raises a serious question mark on the rights and integrity of this government. And if this is the case, what else can people expect from this government?

I leave that question for the decision of the Chief Minister’s discretion and the leaders of the National Conference and the workers. ,

“Some reports suggest that, instead of being present here on Martyr’s Day and to represent the feelings of the people, he chose to stay in Delhi today. I would say that all will say that today stands as one of the most sad days in our history,” he said.

Describing the martyrs of July 13 as the heroes of Kashmir, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “Many people across the country cannot feel a deep connection for these martyrs – perhaps because they are unaware of the historical fact that these heroes in Kashmir stood against protests and Tyrerani.” Heroes. “
