Rupert Murdoch is getting married for the fifth time – 68 years after his first.

Murdoch’s first marriage was to Australian flight attendant Patricia Booker.

The two married in 1956 and gave birth to daughter Prudence two years later. They divorced in 1967.

While Mr Murdoch’s family life and children are known to have been the inspiration for the hit series Succession, Prudence has stayed away from the spotlight and her father’s business.

Anna Mann

Murdoch’s longest marriage was to Scottish journalist Anna Mann, formerly known as Anna Torv, from 1967 to 1999.

Ms Mann, from Glasgow, was working for one of Murdoch’s newspapers in Australia when she met the tycoon. They had three children together; Elizabeth was born in 1968, Lachlan in 1971 and James in 1972.

Wendi Deng

Murdoch married his third wife, Wendi Deng, in 1999, less than three weeks after his last divorce.

Ms Deng and Mr Murdoch had two daughters – Grace, born in 2001 and Chloe, born in 2003 – and later divorced in 2013.

Jerry Hall

The media mogul married Jerry Hall in a church on London’s Fleet Street in 2016, just four months after they first met.
