During his three -day visit to Japan, the delegation held creative meetings and interaction with a series of stakeholders of the government, media and academics.

The delegation also met senior political leaders, including: Yoshihide Suga, former Japanese Prime Minister and currently Vice President of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP); Japan-India Parliamentary Friendship League, its chairman, Yasutoshi Nishimura, East-Acquisition, Minister of Trade and Industry and Foreign Minister of Industries,, including the President of Handuki Fuji, under the leadership of Yasutoshi Nishimura; Minaru Kihara, former Defense Minister; Mitinako Tsuchia, Director General of International Bureau of LDP; Takashi Endo, Chairman of the House of Representative Committee on National Security; And Yasuhiro Hanashi, Acting Chairman of LDP’s Research Commission, on public safety, anti-terrorism and anti-cybercrime measures.

In each meeting, Sanjay Kumar Jha said that the terrorist attack in Pahgam was an nefarious attempt to harass development and peace in the center region of Jammu and Kashmir. He underlined India’s policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and made no difference between terrorists and those who supported them.

Jha insisted that combating terrorism in all its forms and expressions is a national priority for India.

He also said that there can be no neutral voice in the fight against terrorism. He demanded to bring the support of Japan effectively and quickly to justice of criminals, organizers, financers and Pahgam terror attack sponsors.

The Japanese political leadership gave its support for India’s fight against terrorism and emphasized the need to justify criminals of such acts.

The delegation also engaged in major Japanese think tanks, members of Japanese media, dietary members, political leaders of various provinces of Japan, senior officials of national and prefactive governments and foreign diplomats located in Japan, cross-border terrorism and its sponsors to share India’s position on terrorism and its sponsors.
