Air quality warnings in Suskechewan, Manitoba, as a smoke of wildfire

The air quality warning for Suskechewan and some parts of Manitoba remains under the effect as the smoke of the wildfire continues in the region.

Environment Canada says that Buffalo Noro’s Northwestern Suskechewan community will look at some of the poorest conditions, with air quality health indices to hit a “very high risk” rating of more than 10 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Prince Albert, Sask. The city is also affected by Smokey Air, where the environment Canada says the index is also expected to be more than 10 on Friday.

In Northwestern Manitoba, the environment Canada says that the Flynne Flyon region is also subject to warning, with the index to fall from high risk to moderate risk by Saturday.

The agency says that smoke in the rest of the week is expected to reduce visibility and poor air quality.

As Thursday, 118 active wildfires were burning in Manitoba, in which Suskechewan reported 48 active wildfires.
