Ahmedabad’s’ Turban Aad ‘unveiled 5-Kilo Operation Sindoor’ Turban

Ahmedabad, September 18 with Navratri (IANS), within a few days, preparations are being made completely in Gujarat, and once again, international garba dancer Anuj Mudaliyar is making headlines with his extraordinary and thematic turbans.

Known as the ‘turban man’ of Ahmedabad, Anuj has been designing unique, eye -catching turban since 2017, making him a standout figure in the vibrant garba scene.

This year, Anuj has prepared a 5 kg turban based on the theme ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Speaking of his composition, he said that he has spent the last five months in design and collecting the turban, which is dedicated 4 to 5 hours per day for complex work. Fighter jet in the turban is a symbol of women empowerment, and even an image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The design pearl is adorned with a kutch-style embroidery, and is designed using a fine cotton fabric, which reflects both cultural heritage and national pride.

Anuj’s visit with Themed Turbans began in 2017, when he wanted to bring something visually unique to the garba floor. His first concept turban was based on GST, followed by India’s heritage, and another PM dedicated to Modi, which gave him wide recognition.

Since then, he has become a cultural icon at Garba Circle in Ahmedabad.

Apart from Anuj, many other artists are also eagerly preparing for the Navratri festival.

The organizer of the event Deepak Sethia emphasized that special attention is being paid to the security and adherence to the government safety guidelines to ensure a safe and joyful celebration.

From the music industry, names like Sameer Rawal (music director) and Kavita Bodni (singer) are ready to contribute their talent, making tireless efforts to create new beats and tunes that will keep dancing to the crowd overnight.
