Ahmedabad hosted ‘Dharma -Dhamma’ INTAL Dialogue at Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University

Ahmedabad, 17 September (IANS) Dr. In collaboration with Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, India Foundation, will host a three-day international dialogue on the subject of “Dharma-Dhamma” from 18 to 20, 2025 at the University’s Jyotimai Campus.

The dialogue will show the participation of distinguished dignitaries, in which Gujarat Governor, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Dr. of Mauritius. Mahendra Gondia, Minister of Bhutani Government, Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel, spiritual leader Swami Govind Dev Girij, President of India Foundation Ramad. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, as well as other prestigious scholars and representatives from all over the world.

While focusing on the theme “Dharma -Dahma”, the purpose of the dialogue is to provide a platform for intensive spiritual and cultural studies, highlighting the rich traditions and heritage of Gujarat on an international platform. According to an official university Bulletin, representatives from 16 countries will participate, and more than 100 research papers are expected to be presented.

An annual international dialogue, Dharma-Dhamma Conference (DDC), organized by the Indian Foundation, examines the shared philosophical principles of Hindu (Dharma) and Buddhist (Dhamma) civilizations to help a new world system.

The conference provides global leaders, religious scholars and thinkers a platform to promote cultural harmony and investigate how these ancient philosophy can provide insight into contemporary global challenges.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BOOU), established in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 1994, is a public university, named the head of the Indian Constitution, Dr. BR is named after Ambedkar.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized and recognized by NAAC, BOAOs specialize in distance and open education, offer more than 80 programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate and doctoral levels.
