After F -16, J -17 fighter jets shot, Pakistan begged for ceasefire: Air Force Chief

New Delhi, 3 October (IANS) Operation Sindoor of India rained hell on Pakistani forces, its top fighter jets, which include US -made F -16 and Chinese -made J -17, were destroyed during a four -day military performance, said Air chief Marshall AP Singh on Friday.

He said that the Indian Army had a proof of four to five strikes on fighter jets during at least one long distance strike on AEW and C aircraft and operation vermilion.

Speaking at the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations in the capital, the IAF chief also reported that Indian jets were dropped into Pakistan’s mutual attacks and were called vicious publicity by the Pakistani establishment to mislead their own citizens.

Highlighting suspense on the ceasefire in the light of Operation Sindoor, he said it was Pakistan, which was surrounded by Indian military attacks, begging for a ceasefire.

“In Operation Sindoor, you saw the terrorists to pay the price to kill innocent people. The world saw that we achieved our goal with accurate attacks. We hit the target during 300 km, then they (Pakistan) said for a ceasefire,” he said, “he said, while praising the country’s air defense systems, while praising all Pakistani projects and draws.

In particular, India’s accurate air strike under Operation Sindoor saw the Indian Air Force destroying the terrorist infrastructure within Pakistan as well as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), which on April 22 as a strong vengeance for the Pahgam terror attack. Indian forces destroyed nine terrorist camps and abolished more than 100 terrorists in the attack.

The IAF chief also stated that the Indian armed forces were given a clear instruction and mandate, and it obtained it for a long time without receiving those objectives within a clear time frame.

He said, “We took a call to end those enmity because our own objectives were fulfilled. I think it’s something that the world needs to learn from us,” he said.

He also said that the armed forces needed to prepare for the future as the next war would be very different from the current face-off and said that by 2047 a renovation roadmap was already under consideration.
