After the Shayan Aarti at 8 pm on January 21, the original idol of Ram Lala Virajman will be shifted to the new Ram temple. The original idols of Lord Hanuman as well as his brothers, Lord Lakshman, Shatrughan and Bharat will also be shifted to the temple.

News18 had earlier reported that the original idols will also be shifted to the new temple before the consecration ceremony on January 22. The significance of shifting the original idols on the evening of January 21 is that Ram Lalla Virajman will open his eyes to the new grand temple tomorrow after living in tents and temporary structures for 70 years.

It is after decades that Ram Lalla Virajman has not seen devotees for two days as the temple was closed on January 20 and 21 – now he will see them in the new Ram temple. Ram Lalla Virajman could not be shifted earlier on January 19 and 20 as he is offered daily bhog while the new Lord Ram idol cannot be offered bhog yet before Pran Pratistha. So, it would seem strange that offerings should be made to one idol of God and not the other, pointing to the sages and saints in Ayodhya.

The new 51-inch high idol of Lord Ram Lalla has been installed on a pedestal inside the sanctum sanctorum (sanctum sanctorum) of the Ram temple and the original idols of Lord Ram (Ram Lalla seated) and his brothers will be installed in front. New idol inside the sanctum sanctorum. The original idols, which have been worshiped since 1949.

The original idol of Ramlala is only six inches high, while the idols of his brothers, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan and Lord Hanuman are even smaller. Therefore, the Ram Mandir Trust had decided to build a large standing statue of Ram Lala so that devotees could have a grand darshan of the deity. Devotees will now be able to have a joint darshan of the new idol as well as the original idols of Ramlala and his brothers.

Ramlala Virajman had won the case in the court regarding the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute. The original idols have been placed on a throne (chair) inside the temporary temple and will be shifted to the sanctum sanctorum in the same form.
