Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee claimed that the “Modi assurance” has “zero guarantee” and on Sunday termed the BJP leaders as “outsiders and anti-Bengali” who only Visit the state during the election period.
TMC national general secretary Mr. Banerjee claimed that the people of the state will give a befitting reply to the saffron camp’s withholding of state funds during the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a ‘Jana Garjan Sabha’ rally at the Tourist Row venue, he said, “There is zero guarantee of ‘Modji Assurance’. Only Mamata Banerjee and TMC keep their promises. The BJP and its leaders They are outsiders and anti-Bengali and that is why they are withholding funds due to the country.”
The TMC MP also claimed that ED and CBI raids “will not yield any results as they will not participate in the elections”.
The Trinamool Congress kicked off its campaign for the Lok Sabha polls with a grand rally on Sunday, where party supremo Mamata Banerjee is expected to set the tone for the upcoming elections.
