One uber Passenger killed after car of man fleeing police collides with rideshare philadelphiaOfficials say.

Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office deputies were attempting to serve a warrant against Joseph Sini, 35, for alleged domestic assault Monday morning when they said he was taking off in a Nissan Maxima.

As Sini drove away, he was hit by an Uber, a red Jeep Patriot. According to investigators, he then fled the scene on foot told NBC Philadelphia.

A 63-year-old woman was a passenger in Uber pronounced dead In the view. The Uber driver, a 51-year-old man, was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Eyewitness Joey Johnson told NBC10 the crash “looked like a bomb.”

“To see pieces flying everywhere and then to see the person there gasping for life. It was bad,” Johnson said.

The fatal accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. on Monday.

Video obtained by NBC10 shows the crash and Sini fleeing the scene immediately afterward.

Details about the warrant officers attempted to serve on Sini were not immediately known.

According to the report, Sini remained loose on Monday afternoon.

Authorities ask anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call the Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Division at 215-685-3181. You can also submit an anonymous tip by calling or texting the Philadelphia Police Tipline at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
