Giuffre’s co-writer says ‘it’s not too late’ for Andrew to come forward
The co-author of Virginia Giuffre’s memoirs has said it is “not too late” for Prince Andrew to come forward and say what he knew about late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Amy Wallace, co-author of the book, said Ms Giuffre wanted “rich, powerful men to be held accountable” and said Andrew could still help victims of sexual abuse.
He added, “He still denies what’s in the book. But it’s not too late.”
“He can continue to drop things with Virginia that he’s been accused of. He can still come forward. He was in those houses, he was on the island, he was on the private jet multiple times.
“They can still come forward and say to the authorities, I want to validate the experience of these women.”

Amy-Claire Martin writes that Cabinet minister Peter Kyle on Tuesday urged Andrew to co-operate with US authorities and give evidence about Epstein’s crimes.
In 2020, a federal investigator accused Andrew of providing “zero cooperation” in the US investigation of Epstein and his conspirators, despite promising that he was willing to help when he stepped down from public duties in 2019.
This week, Business Secretary Mr Kyle urged them to stick to their word, telling ITV good morning britain: “I think that anyone who has any information that could bring justice and information to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes should engage fully with the authorities who want to provide that information and justice to the victims.”
He added: “Those victims must be first, and they must be at the center of how we discuss and debate any issue related to the Jeffrey Epstein … situation and the crimes he committed. So, of course, anyone, anywhere who has information that could deliver justice should share it openly.”
“I believe Andrew has said in the past that he will cooperate, and I urge him to stick to his word.”
Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick agreed that Andrew should give evidence to US authorities about “what he knew and his involvement in the scandal”.

If Andrew leaves the Royal Lodge where might he go?
Prince Andrew is reportedly discussing voluntarily leaving the Royal Lodge following the uproar over the “peppercorn” rent for his 30-room mansion.
The obstacles to reaching an agreement are reportedly over where Andrew, who is eighth in line to the throne, will live and what financial compensation he will receive for the money spent renovating the house.
The King’s private Balmoral estate in Scotland and his Sandringham estate in Norfolk are potential properties in which Andrew could be housed but whether he would accept a smaller home away from his servile daughters remains to be seen.
