Bayern Munich continued its 100 percent start Bundesliga season with a 3–0 win over 10-man Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Vincent Kompany’s side had to work hard for their eighth consecutive league win, but eventually found the breakthrough, scoring three goals in the space of 17 minutes during the second half.

Mönchengladbach were reduced to 10 men after just 19 minutes when Jens Castrop was sent off after a Our Review of his late challenge on Luis Diaz.

Joshua Kimmich broke the deadlock just after the hour mark and Rafael Guerrero quickly doubled the lead, before 17-year-old Lennart Karl scored his first Bundesliga goal to wrap up another impressive win – and leave Mönchengladbach bottom of the table.

RB Leipzig are five points behind Bayern after a 6-0 win at Augsburg, where Yann Diomande, Romulo and Antonio Nussa were all on target for the visitors in an opening 22-minute spell.

Borussia Dortmund – beaten by Bayern in Der Klassiker last week – earned a 1-0 win over Cologne at Signal Iduna Park thanks to a stoppage-time goal from substitute Maximilian Bayer.

Jonathan Burchard scored twice to give Eintracht Frankfurt a 2-0 win over St. Pauli, while Wolfsburg ended a four-game losing streak with a 1-0 win at Hamburg and Hoffenheim beat struggling Heidenheim 3-1.

Napoli returned to the top of Serie A after a 3–1 aggregate win against title rivals Inter Milan.

Antonio Conte’s side – who were beaten 6-2 by PSV Eindhoven in midweek in the Champions League after losing 1-0 at Torino last weekend – took control after Kevin De Bruyne’s first-half penalty and Scott McTominay’s superb strike.

Hakan Calhanoglu’s spot-kick reduced the deficit, but another good goal from Frank Anguissa left Napoli one point clear of AC Milan.

Former England striker jamie vardy Scored his first goal for Cremonese in a 1–1 draw against Atalanta.

Adam Buksa’s late goal helped Udinese earn a 3-2 win over struggling Lecce, while Parma and Como ended goalless.

Villarreal maintained their momentum at the top of LaLiga with a 2-0 win over derby rivals Valencia.

Gerard Moreno’s first-half penalty and Santi Comesana’s close strike before the hour secured a sixth league win, leaving Villarreal in third place – two points behind Barcelona ahead of El Clásico.

Bottom side Verona secured a vital point with a dramatic 3-3 draw against fellow strugglers Real Oviedo after David Carmo’s strike in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

Borja Mayoral’s second-half goal gave Getafe a 1-0 win at Athletic Bilbao while Espanyol beat Elche 1-0.

Paris Saint-Germain returned to the top of Ligue 1 after a 3–0 win in Brest and Marseille were later defeated in Lens.

Achraf Hakimi had scored twice in the first half, Román del Castillo missed a penalty for the home side after the break, before substitute Desiree Du scored the third in stoppage time.

Marseille were again looking to put themselves in front and took the lead through Mason Greenwood in the 17th minute.

However, Odsonne Edouard soon equalized from a penalty and Benjamin Pavard’s own goal gave Lens the win, moving them into second place.
