According to the Met Office, a Low pressure area over southeast Bay of Bengal On Friday it transformed into a well-defined low pressure area. The weather system is expected to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression by October 25, into a deep depression by October 26, and into a cyclonic storm by October 27 morning over southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal.
A fresh Western Disturbance is also set to affect the Western Himalayan region from October 27.
The sky will be mainly clear in Delhi
The sky will be clear in Delhi on Saturday, with the minimum temperature expected to be between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature expected to be between 30 to 32 degrees Celsius. On Friday, the maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 32.3 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 17 degrees Celsius. The IMD has also predicted fog and mist during morning hours till October 30.

Extremely heavy rainfall (≥21 cm) is expected at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on October 27 and 28, with Rayalaseema also likely to experience similar conditions on October 27.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places and heavy rainfall at some places.
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe from 25 to 28 October, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema from 25 to 29 October.
Very heavy rainfall is also predicted over Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka on October 27 and coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema from October 26 to 28. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely over the entire region during the next five days, while gusty winds (30-50 kmph) are likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period.
Rainfall in eastern and central India
According to the IMD bulletin, there is a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorm over eastern and central India in the coming days. In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected at many places, with heavy rain at isolated places to continue on October 25, while thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph is likely for the next five days.
Looking ahead, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely over Odisha from October 27 to 29, with isolated heavy and very heavy rain during this period.
Light to moderate rain/storm with isolated heavy falls very likely over Gangetic West Bengal between October 28 and 30, similar forecast over Jharkhand on October 29 and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on October 29 and 30. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers with lightning over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh in the next few days.
Light to moderate rain in western India
IMD has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in isolated areas of Saurashtra, South Gujarat and North Gujarat. The highest temperature is expected to be around 36°C and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 25°C. Light to moderate rain is expected in many areas of Konkan and Goa region, with severe rain at isolated places on October 25.
For Gujarat, rainy season is expected to affect the state from October 25 to October 27, bringing light to moderate rain and thundershowers. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers with lightning in the area during the next four to five days.
