The news was first shared in an Instagram post, which featured the couple holding a fake newspaper with sonogram photos and the caption, “Baby Vesya is on the way.” She later revealed the gender reveal with her two dogs, who ate the cupcakes and revealed pink frosting inside, indicating that they were having a girl.
Most recently, Kayla posted an Instagram Reel last week where she lip-synced while talking to her husband on the field, “I’m having a busy week,” while the text on the clip read, “Saturday: Maybe having a baby,” with the same thing written for each new day of the week, indicating that her due date was near.

Vesia was not listed on the team’s official roster on Friday morning; However, it is not known if he was placed on the “Family Medical Emergency List”, which could result in him missing a minimum of three days and a maximum of seven days. If Vesia is not on the list, he may be added to the roster later only as a replacement for an injured player.
