Most international travelers arrive in Nice before conveniently riding an Uber, or hopping on a regional train to Le Dramont station, which is an eight-minute walk from the hotel. Both tours take about 90 minutes and bring unique views as you walk along the beach.

Perched atop a sleek Chinese cliff, this stylish Riviera retreat opens up in layers towards the sea. Descend one floor at a time, and you’ll pass boutique spas and cozy living spaces that open onto an expansive waterside terrace. The interior is a masterclass in the luxurious style of the Côte d’Azur: think whitewashed walls with quirky colours, terracotta tiles and rattan accents. Each location is designed to look out across the ocean, with the rocky private isle Île d’Or the only shadow on the horizon.
Service
Service is comfortable but reliable, reflecting let it happen Spirit of the Riviera. Expect a mostly hands-on approach: the staff will leave you to relax and spend each day at your own pace, but they’re also friendly and proactive when you get their attention.
bed and bath
All 67 bedrooms are bright and airy, in line with the hotel’s minimalist, simple aesthetic. In June this year, 25 new bedrooms were unveiled in a defunct building separate from the main hotel. This modernist cube, enclosed by a mustard-yellow awning, boasts panoramic Mediterranean views: possibly the best in the house. Airy bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open onto ocean-facing balconies, smart tiled bathrooms and marshmallow-soft beds. Interior architects Antoine Ricardo and Clémentine Larroumet of Atelier Saint-Lazare have given these spaces plenty of amenities: think curated artworks, rattan accents, and chic mid-century furnishings.

Food and Drink
There are three places to eat and drink, all serving a modern riff on traditional Provençal food and supporting the freshest local produce. Open all day, restaurant Estello extends onto a rocky terrace, where you can enjoy raw crudo, freshly caught seafood and cuts of Wagyu beef, while enjoying ocean views. Enjoy simple continental dishes for breakfast every morning (homemade cakes and pastries are the highlight here). For fine dining, Michelin-starred Recife offers fine-tasting menus, while salads and focaccia sandwiches can be enjoyed at the al fresco bar La Chicola, set within the gardens for sunbathers each evening.

The hotel’s two pools take center stage: the first is a smooth, 22-metre lap pool built into the cliffside, and the second is a huge, saltwater number that hangs close to the ocean. From the pontoon, you can wade straight into the ocean or go out on kayaks and paddleboards. There’s no need to jostle with other guests over a lounger: there are countless sunbeds to sleep on. When you’re not growing your tan, work up a sweat in the boutique gym, or relax in the beautiful spa, which features three tranquil treatment rooms where you can immerse yourself in a restorative deep tissue massage.
