Patna, October 24 (IANS) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is campaigning in Bihar, BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said on Friday that the PM’s visit will strengthen the election momentum across the state.
Speaking to IANS, Shahnawaz Hussain said, “Whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Bihar, a wave of happiness spreads across the state. The people of Bihar love him very much because he has done extensive work for them. His visit today will give a big boost to the entire election. The current wave in our favor will soon turn into a storm.”
Reacting to the remarks of AIMIM leader Waris Pathan, who had accused the grand alliance of ignoring Muslim leadership despite a significant share of Muslim voters, Hussain said, “They took Muslim votes but did not give them any representation. There is no place for Muslims in RJD. They have also cheated in the seat distribution. What kind of MY (Mukesh Sahni-Tejashwi Yadav) equation is this?” Is it? This is completely unacceptable. Lalu Yadav has forcibly made Tejashwi Yadav the CM face of Congress, while Mukesh Sahni has declared himself the Deputy CM.
Taking aim at Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Hussain said, “When Rahul Gandhi came to Bihar, he had the illusion that Congress was still a big force. But Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav showed him the real status of Congress. The party has completely surrendered. That is why Rahul Gandhi does not even mention Bihar now. Pappu Yadav still claims that he will not get any votes.” Be it in the name of Rahul, but RJD leaders do not consider Rahul as a factor.”
Responding to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s statement that he will not become the chief minister and that “the public will become the chief minister itself”, Hussain said, “These are just his words. Everyone knows that ‘Jungle Raj Part 2’ is not coming back. There is good governance in Bihar now, and it will continue. The NDA will form the next government and win more than 200 seats.”
Hussain expressed confidence that the Prime Minister’s visit will energize the BJP cadre and strengthen support for the NDA across Bihar.
