Bhopal, October 23 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered suspension of three government employees and disciplinary action against 19 others for negligence. This decision was taken during the review meeting of the government’s ‘CM Helpline’ service.
The Chief Minister also ordered stopping the salary increment of five government employees, issuing show cause notices to six, directing disciplinary action in seven cases and initiating a departmental inquiry against the one employee found guilty.
CM Yadav reviewed the pending civil cases of various districts through video conferencing from his official residence Samatva Bhawan. He instructed the officers to work efficiently in public interest.
According to a statement issued from the Chief Minister’s Office, issues related to scholarships, nutrition grants, land acquisition, public distribution and teachers’ attendance were also included in the review meeting.
CM Yadav expressed displeasure over the complaint of Shivani Maurya of Dhar district about hostel bed amount not being approved and directed the Tribal Welfare Department to resolve such cases immediately.
He warned that strict action would be taken against any negligence in providing hostel facilities.
In Maihar, four government employees faced penalties including salary withholding, show cause notice, reassignment and salary deduction for linking Sanjana Patel’s composite ID with another person’s Aadhaar.
The Chief Minister said that efforts should be made to complete the work of citizens on time and with high quality by improving work methodology and promoting innovation. He urged the officers and employees to maintain good governance through dedicated and efficient work.
During the review meeting, CM Yadav said that the districts and departments with the least number of complaints (in the CM Helpline) will be encouraged, while the districts and departments with zero complaints will be rewarded.
