PM Modi wishes Amit Shah on his birthday, lauding his efforts to strengthen India’s internal security

New Delhi, October 22 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended warm birthday wishes to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and praised his unwavering dedication towards public service and his important role in strengthening the internal security of the country.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi wrote, “Birthday greetings to Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji. He is widely admired for his dedication to public service and hard-working nature. He has made commendable efforts to strengthen India’s internal security apparatus and ensure that every Indian lives a life of security and dignity. Praying for his long and healthy life.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also congratulated HM Shah, saying, “Happy birthday to our colleague in the Union Cabinet, Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah. Naturally extremely hard-working and endowed with determination, Amit ji is working with full enthusiasm to strengthen India’s internal security and ensure peace and stability in the country. I pray to God for his long life, excellent health and continued success in the service of the nation.” (Latent translated from Hindi)

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also extended birthday wishes.

“Happy birthday to my colleague in the Union Cabinet, Shri @AmitShah ji. I pray to God for your good health, long life and a happy life,” Gadkari posted on Twitter.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta paid her tribute to Ax and praised his efforts to strengthen India’s internal security.

“Warm birthday wishes to Honorable Union Minister of Home & Cooperation Shri @AmitShah ji. Your extraordinary determination and dedication towards the internal security of the country is exemplary. Under your unwavering leadership the country is witnessing a decisive end to the influence of Naxalism, and with the historic abrogation of Article 370, all of us countrymen have seen the spirit of Akhand Bharat come alive. As an adept organization builder, your efforts have made a mark in Indian politics. New standards have been set. Your visionary guidance and worker-friendly nature serves as an inspiration to all of us. The country’s security and cooperation sector should continue to strengthen under your leadership. I pray to God for your good health, long life and glorious public life.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath prayed for HM Shah’s long life and praised his organizational skills.

“Warm birthday greetings to the respected Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah Ji, a popular public leader and architect of the country’s internal security for his remarkable combination of discipline, hard work and organizational skills! I pray to Lord Shri Ram that you may be blessed with excellent health, longevity and continued fame. May your path of service to the nation and cooperation become even more fruitful for public welfare – this is my good wish.” Yogi wrote in Hindi on X (loosely translated).

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also posted a greeting. “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the Honorable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah on his birthday. We wish him a healthy and long life.”

Born in 1964, Amit Shah is considered one of the main strategists of BJP and a close confidant of Prime Minister Modi. His political career has been marked by several major milestones, including the abrogation of Article 370, implementing major internal security reforms and focusing on cooperative federalism.

On his birthday, BJP workers and supporters across Gujarat and India extend wishes through various social service initiatives including blood donation drives, cleanliness drives and cultural programs dedicated to community welfare.
