Warner Bros. Discovery announced this on Tuesday hbo max The streaming service is raising all subscription prices.

The basic plan of HBO Max with ads will now cost an additional $1 per month, bringing the monthly subscription price to $10.99. The annual subscription will increase an additional $10 to $109.99.

Subscribers with an HBO Max standard plan with no ads will see a price increase of $1.50 per month, bringing the monthly cost to $18.49. Those who pay annually will see a $15 increase to $184.99.

HBO Max Premium subscribers, who have ad-free, 4K content and the ability to stream on more devices simultaneously, will have to pay an additional $2 per month for it, bringing their monthly bill to $22.99. The annual subscription will increase by an additional $20 to $229.99.

The new price increase will be effective immediately for new customers. Existing monthly subscribers will have their HBO Max plans charged starting on their next billing date on or after November 20. Existing annual customers will not see an increase to their plan until it is up for renewal.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s announcement comes after CEO David Zaslav said he thinks HBO Max is “underpriced.”

“We’re not trying to be everything to everyone. And the fact that it’s quality, and this is true across our company, motion picture, TV production and streaming quality. We think that gives us an opportunity to raise the price,” Zaslav said at the Goldman Sachs Communakopia + technology conference last month.

Disney has also announced rising costs For its streaming services, Disney+ and HuluWhich started on Tuesday. In September, the entertainment company said the price of Disney+ with commercials and Hulu with commercials would increase from $9.99 to $11.99 per month. Disney+ Premium without ads increased from $15.99 to $18.99 per month, but Hulu Premium remained at $18.99 per month. Disney also announced price increases for its various streaming bundles.

Netflix announced it was raising its prices in January. Its standard ad-free plan increased from $15.49 per month to $17.99, while its plan with ads increased from $6.99 per month to $7.99.

In July, NBCUniversal announced Growth in its streaming service PeacockPeacock Premium with ads and Premium Plus without ads saw increases of $3 to $10.99 per month and $16.99 per month, respectively.

These price increases come as Americans are feeling the burden of inflation. Consumer Price Index, a key inflation indicator, increased to 2.9 percent in AugustAccording to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The consumer price index report for September will come on Friday.
