Hyderabad, 6 October (IANS) The Splendid Chamahalla Palace, The Royal seat of the Asan Jah Dynasty (Nizam) and now a tourist attraction, has a new photo gallery pair with rare and unseen photos of Mukaram Zah Bahadur, which was dead in the Titular eighth Niyisam, which was given to Hydrabad.
On Monday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mukaram Jah Bahadur, the special exhibition was inaugurated by his son and the Titular Nizam Azmet Jeh was introduced.
Mukram Jah’s first wife and mother of Azamith Jah, Princess Ishra, sister Shaker and some other family members were present.
The exhibition is a developed visual journey through rare and earlier unseen photographs, which detects the life of Miram Jah, the grandson of the last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur.
In 1971, until the elimination of the Privy Purses, on 6 April 1967, Mukaram J was recognized as the Nizam of Hyderabad on 6 April 1967.
The exhibition features pictures of Mukarram Jah’s childhood, youth, coronation, marriage and rare documents, including his first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, including his correspondence, including his correspondence.
These included a letter written by Mukarram Jah in 1962, requesting the Prime Minister to allow him to serve the country on the border. Nizam was made an honorary lieutenant and later a honorary colonel by the President of India.
In many of his official roles, Titular Nizam was a supporter-Chancellor of Osmania University. He established several charitable trusts, including Mukarram Jah Trust for education and learning.
Anuradha Naik, designed and curated by Associates, brings more than 250 photos together, many of which are from private collections of the family. In addition, there are precious items on the performance and rare documents from the Chamahalla Palace Archives.
The collection consists of a golden squad (head-dress) since childhood, a Mughal sword of the Asaf Zhi family, and a 28-foot family tree chart, which detects Asaf Zhi and Ottoman lineage.
Mukaram J died in Turkey on 14 January 2023. He was 89 years old.
According to his wishes, he was buried in Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad, which was his ancestors’ resting places.
