Records suggest that the gold sheet was removed on July 20, 2019, but was sent to Smart Creations in Chennai only after an interval of 40 days, raising questions about where they were placed during that period.

On his return, four kilograms of gold was found missing, an discrepancy was not recorded in the official ‘Mahasar’ (inventory report). Devaswom employees are also likely to be accountable to lapse.
