PM Modi talks to Kang chief Mallikrajun Kharge, wishing him rapid recovery

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge, who performed successful pacemaker implantation surgery in Bengaluru and wished him a quick recovery.

Talking to X, PM Modi said, “Talked to Kharge ji. He inquired about his health and wished him a quick recovery. Praying for his constant good and long life.”

Congress chief Mallikrajun Kharge successfully received a planned pacemaker implantation process at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Wednesday. His family has confirmed that he will resume work on 3 October.

Mallikarjun Kharge’s son RDPR, IT and BT Priyank Kharge ministers have issued a media statement in this regard. Going to the social media X, Minister Kharge said, “The pacemaker implantation process was a small and slight process, and he has remained stable after the process.”

He said, “He is expected to resume his work from October 3 and join all his scheduled busyness. Our gratitude to all extended anxiety, support and affection,” he said.

The Congress President was advised to go through the procedure after fever, fatigue and leg pain.

Mallikrajun Kharge is currently undergoing treatment at Ms. Ramaiya Hospital in Bengaluru.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the Congress chief at the hospital on Wednesday. The Chief Minister inquired about Khage’s health and increased his desires for rapid recovery.

Talking to the media after meeting Kharge at the hospital, Siddaramaiah said that Kharge had come for regular checks due to minor discomfort.

It can be remembered that Mallikrajun Kharge was admitted to Ms. Ramaiya Hospital in Bengaluru after complaints of fatigue and breathing issues after participating in a busy campaign in Bihar.

Kharge is actively participating in the Bihar election campaign. He is attacking BJP and PM Modi.

He recently accused the BJP of trying to win the Bihar assembly elections through “vote theft” and urged people to be vigilant to protect their voting rights.
