The Canadian Post and Canadian Union of Postal Workers are ready to resume.
A spokesman for the Canada Post said in a statement that the Crown Corporation is committed to the collective bargaining process with Cupw and reaching an agreement.
She says that Canada Post is reviewing the proposals of Cupw and requested more information to support this process, adding this to add Cupw through federal intermediaries.
The comments of the Canada Post come after the prescribed talks for Friday.
Cupw said in a press release a day earlier that it was informed by Canada Post that it needed more time to review the proposals put forward by the Union.
The Sangh said that the meeting is to be held today on Thursday.
