Excessive heat is expected to decrease in many parts of Canada today, while the Atlantic provinces continue to bear the brunt of a multi-day summer wave.
Relief is expected in southern and eastern Ontario, but the environment Canada says that the temperature is still above average for this time of the year, the predicted high in the lower 30s.
The National Weather Agency says that today’s situation will begin to improve in many parts of Quebec, which is expected to have a higher seasonal height and low humidity by Thursday.
Meanwhile, New Brearswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island will see the high level of the day reaching the mid -30s, with humidity, it feels close to 40.
In Newfoundland and Labrador, Environment Canada says that excessive heat with Humidex values in the 40s is expected to continue until Thursday, in some areas adequate warnings have been given for the heat warning until Friday.
The National Weather Agency advises people to limit the amount of time spent out, to drink water and to see early signs of heat tiredness.
