Bandipora, August 08, KDC: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, presided over an introductory meeting with women employees of the district at Mini Secretariat Bandipora today, which had an important step towards the inclusive and gender regime.
During the conversation, DC, engaged with all female participants, listened carefully to their concerns, and assured them full support of the administration in addressing the real issues affecting their work environment.
Emphasizing the need to create a more competent workplace, the DC directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper hygiene facilities, including the provision of separate washrooms for women employees and a dedicated prayer hall for women.

On this occasion, Indu Kanwal Chib also emphasized on ensuring safe and reliable transport facilities for all employees coming from different parts of the district. To reduce daily commuting challenges, he directed that transportation arrangements would be made from major places like Kalosa Bridge, Nuso Sumo Stand and Gulshan Chowk.
DC reiterated its commitment to promote a work environment, where all employees, especially women, feel safe, respected and strong.
The meeting saw active participation from women employees in various departments, who appreciated the platform and shared suggestions for the purpose of improving work status and productivity. (KDC)
