Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated a high-profile road show and business meat in Ahmedabad this evening, which aims to strengthen tourism and trade relations between Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat.
The program brought stakeholders of Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir together to promote participation in tourism, trade and trade innovation.
The event was organized jointly by the Travel Agents Society of Kashmir (Task), Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), and South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), which brings together major stakeholders of the two regions.
The evening began with a press interaction, followed by a vibrant trade networking session that laid groundwork for deep cooperation in areas such as tourism, handicrafts, hospitality and infrastructure. In his main address, the Chief Minister highlighted the huge investment occasions in Jammu and Kashmir and confirmed his government’s commitment to promote a dynamic, investor-friendly ecosystem.

Presentations by leading tourist stakeholders- Khyber Resorts, AHAD Hotel, and Mushtaq Group- from luxury hospitality to adventure journey, showed the prosperity and diversity of tourism offerings of J&K.
The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including the advisor of Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Malas Farooq Ahmed Shah (Gulmarg) and Altaf Ahmed Wani (Pahgam), who was the Additional Chief Secretary of CM Dheeraj Gupta, Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, President Kelham mother -in -law, President’s.
