In an important action against drug trafficking, the Kulgam police led by SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Shrimal IP have started an attachment of another property related to drug pedals, which is under the provisions of Farooq Ahmed Mir, Jarabazra, Mirbazrus and Psychotrops, son of Ghulam Ahmed Mir, son of Ghulam Ahmed Mir.
The said person is included in two separate NDP cases: 1. FIR number 85/2020 Police Station Mattan under Section 8, 15, and 29 NDPS Act. 2. FIR number 104/2025 Police Station Kajigund under Section 8 and 15 NDPS Act.
According to Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, action was initiated by the competent authority for the attachment of illegally acquired property, which was purchased through drug smuggling income.
Accordingly, a single-storey residential building (850 sq ft.) With 12 Marlus land, located in Jadura, Mirbazar and falls under Khwat No. 3, the estimated market price is connected with Rs 65 lakh.
This step shows the determination of the Kulgam police that not only to prosecute criminals, but also to curb the threat of medicine by targeting their sick property.
