Ladakh Governor Kargil pays tribute to the soldiers who have fallen on Vijay Day

Kavinder Gupta, Governor of Ladakh Lieutenant, gave his life during the 1999 Kargil war on Saturday, who gave his life during the Kargil War Memorial visit in Dras on the occasion of 26th Kargil Vijay Dewas.

Talking to ANI, the Lieutenant Governor expressed pride in appearing in the memorial incident and highlighted the importance of passing the legacy of soldiers on the legacy of sacrifices for future generations.

“I feel proud and lucky that the 26th Kargil is going here on Vijay Day. Today is a day to remember the brave people who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. It is history and a day when future generations know how the future has sacrificed its life for the country. The nation gives us everything, and even we should share it,” Gupta said.

Paying respect for the soldiers and families of the deceased soldiers, LG said the brave people of the Indian Army would always be remembered in the hearts of the people.

“The nation gives us everything, and even we should do our share, keeping in mind, the sacrifice of the bravers will always be in our hearts. I bow to soldiers and their families. Leaders have come from Delhi, ministers Mansukh Mandwia and Sanjay Seth are here, I thank them.

Highlighting the inspiration drawn by Velor’s stories, Gupta commented, “Here we got an opportunity to see the bravery of soldiers, and learn history.

Earlier, the families of soldiers who lost their lives during the Kargil War pay tribute to the war heroes on the occasion of the 26th anniversary.

A large number of people attended the event organized at Drass Town in Kargil, while families took a turn to visit the war memorial and pay tribute to the brave soldiers.

Every year on 26 July, India appreciates Kargil Victory Day, which was a day with pride and serious remembrance in the country. It marks the day in 1999 when India successfully concluded Operation Vijay, recovering strategic heights from Pakistani intruders. (AI)
