Scherzer convicted himself for rival Yankis for the loss of 5-4 of Blue Jais

Web Desk, 23/07/202523/07/2025

Max Shezer was never one to make excuses.

When Toronto Blue Jais decided 5-4 for New York Yankis on Tuesday, the scorer did not harm the scorecard, but took responsibility for this after giving four runs on five hits and walking in five innings.

“I just want to find out the ball better. I should put the ball where I want. I have to perform better,” said The Sorfire Hall of Famer. “It comes to the place. I got the ball to find better detection. You have got a better pitch.

“I don’t think it’s going back to the drawing board, I think it’s good news, so it’s good news. But at the end of the day, I got to do better pitch. I got to find a better detection.”

Scherzer gave a three-run blast to Jazz Chisholm Junior in the first innings and then gave a single shot to Kodi Belinger in the fifth as New York (56–45), which jumped for an early lead. Although The Blue Jais equaled it 4-4 4-4, which is the Doubles from Pinch-Hitter Davis Schnaider and George Springer in the sixth innings on RBI, Sherjar convicted himself for digging a hole for Toronto, causing a hole to get out.

“Where I put the ball, I take accountability, and I could be better,” said Shezzer, who hit four. “I know I can be better, and so I will get better.”

Jeff Hoffman (6-3) actually caused loss to Toronto, as he was run by Ben Rice in the ninth innings. Edison Baragar placed Blue Jais in the game with a pair of RBI singles in the first and fifth innings.

“I put him in a difficult place for four runs, but the rest of the team did their work,” Sherjar said. “People are fighting there.

“We are a great team. They are a great team. These are a fun series. You just want to help your team win.”

At the Rogers Center, Blue Jais’s four-game winning streak and franchise-Best 11-Game streak was shocked, but Toronto still took a three-game lead over yankies in the American League East Standing.

Blue Zais manager John Schneider was not nervous after the loss.

“We had our opportunities, but didn’t really come,” he said. “The way I fight, I love, though.

“Every night it’s the same thing. It seems a different man, and we are right in every game.”
