The Center has officially given notice to Airmen (NOTAM), in which Pakistani national aircraft have been banned from entering Indian airspace by 23 August, the Union Minister of Central Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol confirmed.
“This expansion reflects constant strategic ideas and corresponds to the prevailing security protocol. Stay for further updates,” Union Moss Mohol said in a post on X.
The previous notam was going to end on 24 July (Thursday). Earlier on June 24, the Ministry announced a one -month long expansion of NOTAM that banned Pakistani aircraft coming to India. The first poll by India was valid from 1 May to 23 May.
According to NOTAM, Indian aircraft will not be available, including military flights and operators for the operations of Pakistan-management aircraft and aircraft, ownership or lease Pakistan-regulated aircraft and aircraft.
The restrictions on Pakistani aircraft were first placed during Operation Sindoor, due to an increase in enmity between neighboring countries after the Pahgam terror attack, in which 26 people, including a foreign national, were killed on 22 April.
The Indian airspace has been closed for aircraft or leased aircraft operated by Pakistan Airlines and operators, including military flights from April 30.
On 23 April, a day after the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 people lost their lives, India announced several measures against Pakistan, in which the Indus Waters Treaty was suspended, crossing the only operating land border in the attic and downgrading diplomatic relations in view of cross-border links for massacre.
India also launched a decisive operation Sindore, which targeted the terrorist infrastructure with accurate attacks in Pakistan.
According to sources, during the monsoon Parliament session, the government is ready to discuss Operation Sindoor for 16 hours next week. The discussion will be finalized after unanimous arrival.
Opposition parties have demanded the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the debate on Operation Sindoor. According to sources, since PM Modi will start on a two-nation tour of the United Kingdom and Maldives from July 23 to July 26, the discussion on Operation Sindoor is likely to be held next week.
Many opposition MPs have also presented adjournment movements to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack and subsequent operation vermilion. (AI)
