Traffic advisors issued for Jammu-Srinagar NHW, other major routes among the ongoing Sanji

Traffic Police Headquarters, Jammu and Kashmir has issued a traffic advisory for July 22, underlining the movement plan for various types of vehicles on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) and other roads.

According to the advisor, Sanjee convoy, light motor vehicle (LMVs), passenger vehicles and private cars will be allowed to be subjected to proper weather and better road conditions from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. However, heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will be allowed in alternative days.

The advisor has also specified the cut-off timing for LMV/passenger/private cars from various points including Nagrota, Jakhani and Kajigund. After assessing the road and traffic situation, HMV will be allowed to go from Jakhani to Srinagar.

Additionally, the advisory provides information about traffic movement on other roads including a installment-surplus-Enantnag NH-244, SSG Road and Mughal Road, with specific time and restrictions for a variety of vehicles.

Passengers are advised to confirm the road position from the traffic control unit before starting their journey and follow the specified time and restrictions to ensure smooth and safe travel.
