"Plateau and hypocrisy": Jeram Ramesh targeted PM Modi on his foreign trip

Prime Minister Narendra Modi surpassed his address at the Parliament session on Monday and asked him to appear to discuss Pahgam Terror Attack and Operation Sindoor as he is going to visit UK and Maldives from 23-26 July 2025.

Sharing a social media post, Jeram Ramesh criticized PM Modi, saying that he rarely participate in Parliament sessions and usually addresses the nation through the media outside the Parliament House.

Ramesh insisted that the presence of the Prime Minister during important discussion is important, especially on issues such as Pahalgam terror attacks, Operation Sindoor and President Trump’s claims.

The Congress MP wrote on X, “Very soon the Prime Minister will give Natli clothes to his normal country Cam Sandesh through the media outside the Parliament House before the commencement of the monsoon session of Parliament. It will be full of their general platitude and hypocrisy.”

Ramesh highlighted the immense presence of Prime Minister Modi in Parliament, given that he usually speaks once a year during the proposal of thanks to the President’s address.

He wrote, “Prime Minister Modi is very rarely present in Parliament. He speaks once a year on the proposal of thanks to the President’s address.”

Ramesh urged PM Modi to prioritize his duties and be present in Parliament during important discussions, ensuring that the government’s stand on major issues is clearly communicated.
He said, “But this time he is outstanding to appear for the country when Pahalgam-operation is finally raised to discuss the issue of Sindoor-President Trump,” he said.

Ahead of the upcoming visit of UK and Maldives from July 23 to July 26, Jayer Ramesh said, “After 48 hours, the super premium will start another foreign journey again and again. People of Manipur will have more reason for disappointment.”
