Jammu, July 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed the Provincial Arya Mahasammelan at Baba Jatto Auditorium, Scout Jammu.

The two -day Mahasammelan is being organized by Arya Pratinidhisabha Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 200th birth anniversary and Arya Samaj of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.

The Lieutenant Governor paid tribute to the Army, J&K police and CAPFS personnel, who have sacrificed the highest sacrifice for peace and progress of J&K.

“But, there are some elements that speak the language of TRF. Police administration and security forces are committed to ensure peace and action against such elements according to law,” he said.

The Lieutenant Governor said that every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir has the responsibility of creating a UT free from terror-free and drugs.

He observed that the Provincial Arya Mahasammelan would provide the new generation an opportunity to connect with its cultural roots and inspire them to inspire Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s great teachings and ideals that have great importance to humanity in the 21st century.

The Lieutenant Governor emphasized that the revival of Vedic knowledge and its integration in the school curriculum is important to offer the great classics of the younger generation of world literature, the values and ideals of our ancient civilization and is also a treasure of knowledge in science, art, humanities and mathematics.

The Lieutenant Governor said that when the Vedas were composed 6000 years ago, India was the center of world culture and spirituality. He said that there is no evidence of the development of civilization and culture in any other country at that time.

“Thousands of years before the European Renaissance, the foundation of socio-economic progress in India was laid through development in the field of science, mathematics, astronomy and medicine. The same vibrancy still appears.

India will soon recover its position of the world guru under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our great country will show a new way for the world. The Prime Minister’s vision is promoting India’s economic growth, ”said the Lieutenant Governor.

The Lieutenant Governor called upon the Arya Samaj to lead the efforts to broadcast the message of unity, peace and the collective welfare of humanity.

“Swami Dayanand’s teachings will ensure permanent peace and stability in the world. Today the whole world is accepting the soft power of India and its spiritual wealth. Today, our society is balanced with traditional values with modern progress. The time has come when India will guide the world for peace and harmony and harmony and will play a major role to institutions like Arya Samaj,” Lt. Governor said.

On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor implicated people from various fields of life for his outstanding contribution in promoting the teachings of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
