Speaking on the country’s growing electronic manufacturing industry on Saturday, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the country was only able to see possible changes under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India program.
Speaking at the 14th convocation of IIT Hyderabad, Vaishnav said that in just 11 years, India had increased its electronic production by six times.
“Our country today has progressed in rapid scale development in the electronic manufacturing industry.
In just 11 years, our country has increased its electronic production by six times, and it has become possible due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India program. We have increased our electronics exports by eight times and has crossed $ 40 billion in exports, which is an unprecedented growth … ”Vaishnav said while addressing the convocation.
He further stated that PM’s confidence in making technology accessible to all has empowered us with the idea of building our AI model.
“Our PM strongly believes that technology should be available to all and not limited to a handful of people. Today, we are leading with Edge GPU … It is the power of democratic technology … Today we are building our AI models for our diversity and diversity of our languages. We have started many startups and we have trained models and fingers on our Indian data …” He said.
Speaking on the development of the country in technology, the minister further said, “The country has created a huge talent pool and is moving deeply in capital equipment. India will soon become one of the top five semiconductor countries. Any country has developed a big talent program in the field of semiconductors anywhere in the world … Even today there is a big change and upright.
However, with the basic basis built by our PM, there is a truly strong price system in our country that we continue to make for generations to come … ”(ANI)
