Senior JKNC leader and MLA Hazratbal, Salman Sagar on Sunday condemned the police administration for “making fun of democracy” by stopping tribute to the martyrs of July 13.
In a statement issued here, he said that “We strongly condemn the police administration to make fun of democracy by stopping us from paying tribute to the heroes of July 13.”
Sagar said that for 80 years, we have honored his heritage and today’s Detings and Curbs on our movement have revealed the correct mentality of LG Admin.
He said, “We are unable to fathom this undemocratic modus operandi. The police administration has achieved what the purpose has been to target the elected representatives and to remove our fundamental democratic rights,” he said.
Sagar further said that they condemn illegal custody and ban all political activities, even though it is the leaders of the parties.
