Four people lost their lives and two others suffered injuries in a road accident, which occurred on Friday at Ukhal Senbathi in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

District administration Ramban has expressed grief over the incident and has declared a pre-Gratia relief of Rs 1 lakh for the families of the deceased and is Rs 25,000 every Rs 25,000 for the injured.

In a post on social media platform X, Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Aanyas Khan said, “District administration Ramban has expressed deep grief over the tragic loss of four precious life in a road accident in Ukhal Senbathi. Earlier on July 5, the pilgrims of the Chhattisgarh Amarnath Yatra maintained minor injuries after losing control of the last vehicle of Pahalgam convoy and on Saturday collided with four-trapped vehicles at the Chanderkot Langer site in Ramban district, an official said. All the injured passengers were immediately transferred to the district hospital Ramban by the district administration, which was already present on the site.
