DGP J&K holds a security review meeting in South Kashmir, appreciates SFS for Amarnath Yatra security

Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat (IPS) made an assessment of security preparations in South Kashmir, which was in the midst of the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

The meeting was attended by Dig South Kashmir Range, Javed Matu, SSP of South Kashmir districts and senior officials of Indian Army, CRPF and BSF.

He recognized and appreciated the ineffective commitment of all SFs in achieving the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

He repeated the compulsory requirement of constant rehearsal and gray areas of contingent drills and plugs to plug, in addition to refining the drill to dynamically deal with increasing dangers.

He also emphasized on tireless operations in Hinterland.
