Srinagar 11 July: Cabinet Minister Sakina Itu said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are still facing the results of the decisions taken during the BJP-PDP coalition government which started in 2014.
He said that those who often used the name of Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, when there was a special situation and when people are in trouble, the states now become silent. “They used to talk a lot then, but today, when people are suffering, they are nowhere,” he said.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Itu said that the national conference is not here to speak here – he is given the responsibility by people and trust.
“We are working for the rights of our people – whether it is about land, jobs, state, or special situation. It’s our duty,” he said.
He said that in the last few years the loss will not be fixed overnight, but the party is committed to work through it. “Those who bring us to this point, they have nothing to be meaningful now. People have already been away from them. Even their own leaders cannot gather support – who says a lot,” Itu said.
