Srinagar, 9 July (KDC): Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat on Tuesday made extensive review of the security scenario in North Kashmir, in which Inspector General of Police (IGP) was with Kashmir.
During his visit, the DGP presided over a high-level meeting with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPS) from the northern districts. The discussion focuses on operating preparations, intelligence coordination, and ensures continuous peace and stability in the region.
After the meeting, DGP Prabhat interacted with personnel of Special Operations Group (SOG) and other ground forces. He appreciated his tireless efforts and commitment to maintain law and order and deal with emerging security challenges.
The apex police officer emphasized the importance of community engagement, enhanced the coordination between agencies, and maintained vigilance to combat any threat. (KDC)
