Toronto – Two experienced staff members of the Hot Docs Film Festival have left the Bedamic documentary organization.

The festival on Monday confirmed that Programming Director Heather Hens and Industry Program Director Elizabeth Radshaw have departed.

Hens, who was promoted last year, was with Hot Docs for two decades, while Radshaw had led industry programs since 2009.

A hot dox spokesperson said that “no decision has been taken as to how or by whom the posts will be filled,” but recently appointed Executive Director Diana will support Diana Sanchze programming and industry teams.

Hot Docs named the Executive Director of Sanchez in March, which “promises the period of reconstruction and reunion.”

He replaced the interim executive director Jennis Dave, who resigned after former President Mary Nelson after only one year and the organization struggled with financial difficulties.

In April, Hot Dous stated that it had accepted a conditional offer on his major theater at Tedo, Ted Rogers Cinema, which was placed for sale last year.

The organization said that the deal was expected to conclude this heat after the process of “proper hard work”.

Hot Docs says it will start a “strategic plan process” in the coming months, including a look at Hins and the roles of Radshaw and a multi-year plan to further guide the organization.
