Three days after the Rapid chess, a part of the 2025 Grand Chess Tour is a leader in the Superonished Rapid and Blitz tournament, ruling world champions D Gukesh – Zagreb, in Croatia, scored 14 out of 18 points before going to the Blitz part of the tournament.

Gukesh ended at the top of the chart with 14 points on Friday, followed by Jan-Karazjetof Duda with 11 points, and Magnus Carlsen finished third with 10 points.

Despite the beginning of three days with a win, Carlson was limited to two draws, which maintained his position at the forefront. With nine digits, Fabiano Karuana and R Pragganandha are bound to fourth place. With each 8 points, Alireza Firouzja, Wesley So, and Anish Giri are all tied.

Other Indians, R Pragnanandha performed less exciting in the court. He won once against Ivan Sarik, and tied seven of his nine matches, scoring nine points in total.

Gukesh’s campaign closed for a rocky start with an early shock-the first round loss for Jan-Crozzatof Duda. However, this only a wonderful change occurred. Gukesh won five straight games and confiscated the command of the leaderboard, including an outstanding necklace of Carlson in Round 4. (ANI)
