The Toronto Police has identified one of the two people found dead in a Scarborough house earlier this week.
For the wellness check, the police were called at a address on Birchmount Road and Chelwood Road near the Eglinton Avenue East before 6:30 pm on July 2.
When he arrived, he found the bodies of a 62 -year -old man and a 67 -year -old man who demonstrated “clear signal of trauma”.
Police have identified one of the men as 62 -year -old David Foot.
The name of the 67 -year -old has not been released, and investigators say it is believed that he is responsible for the death of Foot. No other information was released.
The police would not confirm the relationship between the two, but the neighbors told Citynues that the male was brothers and one of them lived at home for more than 20 years.
A neighbor said, “When the police came, I was very surprised and said that he passed away,” a neighbor said, who says another member of the family approached him on Wednesday to examine the men.
“He called me and asked me if I could knock and find out if they are there. I knock and knock and no one answers, so I called him back and told him that I am not getting the answer from him.”
